Low carbon drawing qualities
This product group comprises low carbon wire rod as a preliminary material for drawing mills and cold rolling mills. Our wire rod is thereby further processed into objects for everyday use such as
- staples
- dishwasher racks
- shopping trolleys
- fences
- bucket handles
The low carbon content and low amount of trace elements with possible additional alloying with B, Ti and Al ensure low wire rod tensile strength and excellent drawing and cold rolling properties with high crosssectional reduction. Our wire rod is therefore used for the following applications:
- window and door fixtures
- light bulbs
- concrete fibers
- champagne cork wire
