Bearing steels from Saarstahl have an extremely high degree of purity as a result of their special metallurgy and aluminum-free melting. This has a decisive effect on the life span of products manufactured from these steels.

Due to our MSR technology, Saarstahl is able to produce roller-bearing steel from thin billets at the quality level required for ball material. Other steel manufacturers are only able to achieve this using blooms or large-format continuous casting.
